Learning to find the power of your inner voice and take control of your life story can create new ways of viewing yourself and the world. This can restore peace within your mind, body and relationships with others. I recognize that the struggles we face are often passed down through generations and ingrained in early childhood. It is challenging to break unhelpful patterns of managing and expressing our emotions.

As a mother to a young son, I recognize the stress of balancing the responsibilities of being a parent with personal and professional goals. I understand the challenges of remaining connected to yourself and the people you love, while taking on new roles and managing unexpected emotional challenges.

I have been working in the social work field for the past decade, helping families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. I have experience working with complicated family dynamics, parents that are struggling to manage their child’s special needs and individuals who have experienced complex trauma.

I am EMDR trained and a trained specialist in combining EMDR with Sandtray. I also incorporate mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy and expressive arts interventions into an integrated approach to healing. I will walk alongside you as we collaboratively create a pathway to peace and healing. We will move at your pace. We will create a plan to meet the goals you choose. I look forward to hearing your story!
